2010 Brags
January 10,2010: New Kent,Va:
Four of the puppies out of the repeat breeding of Rowdy and Mae came out to play for the first time in UKC along with their human Mom's and Dad's to make me soooooo proud. What a way to start the New Year!
The pup's and owner's had never been in a show ring. With a crash course and the good sportsmanship of JJ , Frank and Cabell and a big thanks to our UKC friends and co exhibitors for making their first experience a positive one. And a big thanks to judge Alleyne Dickens, can't forget her for allowing us exhibtors to yell out that this whole class is NOVICE to the bone!! And her patience in coaching and probably some ring side coaching?? ; ^ )~
I knew I could count on my UKC friends! You guys are the best!
Frank with Mojo, JJ with Buzz and Cabell with Moxie enter Novice puppy in that order and they really out did themselves. The pups acted so good. I figured with siblings in the ring together it was going to be a riot. Did they fool me. GOOD JOB GUYS.
Mojo and Frank take first place, Buzz and JJ take Second place and Moxie and Cabell take third. Then onto me and the little blue girl Glory. Boy she free stacked and did such an awesome job. But then I have been at it a little longer than the others : ^ P
But even as cute as she was we could not pull off beating Frank and Mojo!! So Frank and Mojo take Best Puppy to go to Best Puppy in show. Sure glad he didn't get it!! We would never have gotten him out of the double doors!!
Raven better known as Pickin' did a fine job for me in the Junior class. She is now owned by JJ. She has not been at a show since she was about 6 months old. She and I take a group two for our first comp win. Wish I had entered her in show 2.

2009 Brags
January 24, 2009: Hampton, Va:
Franklin is entered in his first puppy match. He handled it like a little pro. He was just tooooo darn cute struttin his stuff! I had only been working with him on the leash and collar (due to my hand, I am just beginning to be able to handle bait)for maybe 4 sessions. There was a 4 1/2 month old pup in his class and another older pup I think about 8 months old?? And Franklin takes Best of Breed puppy!! Pickin takes her class, but then she is the only girl entered. I was so pround of them both the way they handled an indoor place full of dogs and people.
March 8, 2009: Salisbury, MD:
Carl, Franklin and Pickins' brother and a Rowdy son is entered in his first puppy match. I understand he handled it like a little pro. He takes Best of Breed Puppy onto a Group 3 handled by his Pop Art. Good going guys. Also Barbara informs me this same day that another Rowdy boy Keaton earns his first major at an ASCA show up North. Taking Best of Winners/Best Opp. Way to go you two. Also Nemo is entered in AKC agility in Excellent jumpers and does an awesome job with no training, since I am just getting use of my right hand back. He NQ's by taking a jump down but I am so proud of the way he handled the course and me. So Starrbreak Aussies had a good weekend : ^ P
April 18, 2009: Chesterfield,Va:
Franklin earns 2 Comp Wins for his UKC CH being Best Male over a 3 year old AKC major pointed dog in both Show 1 and 2 and taking 2 Best of Winners over a nice 1 1/2 old bitch. I was so proud of my puppy. He is just 6 months and 4 days. Pickin' was entered only in Show 1 and took Reserve, 3 girls total. Franklin handled it like a pro. Pickin' made me proud, she also took it all in stride. I have not had them in any handling classes so this was their first real show out.
April 18, 2009: Timonium, MD :
Rowdy's boy Abbott takes Reserve to a 3 point major, he needs only one more major to finish his AKC CH. Congrat's Sue and Abbott!!

Nemo and Sheri Blake earn another point in AKC conformation. Thanks Sheri for helping me and taking time to become friends with Nemo. Like Don Jernigan, if he gets to sleep out of his crate in the motel room, he has to have his bed time lullaby sung to him. It's goes like this D-U-N-K-I-N D-A-W-G sung to the mickey mouse theme.
October 26, 2008: Gloucester, Va:
Rowdy and I go to Gloucester for his last agility trial. I planned to retire him after this trial, we need one more leg for his Excellent Standard leg. The Excellent Standard is not an easy level, out of about 10 dogs in Excellent A Rowdy and I are the only ones to qualify. A big thanks to judge Kele McGlohon for putting together a nice flowing course, to finish with a first place.
October 5, 2008: Chesapeake, Va:
We left Gloucester, Va after our Agility Excellent Standard run with Nemo, over all doing pretty well since he really is not ready for that level. To go to Chesapeake park for the Chesapeake Dog Fanciers Fun Match. Nemo comes away with a Group One.

We do not Q but are really close, no spins this time. Both days he takes a jump down because of me, he needs to stop checking back on me. We are working as a team taking my direction with no problem. I can not say enough of what a super dog my Blue boy is.
June 14 & 20, 2008: Brandywine ASCA, PA:
Keaton one of Rowdy's boys picks up 2 points in the Altered conformation class going BW. Way to go Gary and Barbara!
January 19 & 20, 2008: Portsmouth Chesapeake Obedience Training Club:
Rush earns her AKC CD. I would like to Thank both judges Jon Mett and his wife Carol for understanding the little stinker. Being a conformation show dog for sooooo many years and with Rush being 9 1/2 years old, I finally decide to take some time and come back to my first love of obedience. Boy do I need to get back up to speed. Again Thanks Jon and Carol for your advise and understanding. ; ^ }~ Hopefully I will be back in your ring with the top notch dogs I know I have but need to train for. : )~
May 10 & 11 , 2008: Belroi Agility & Obedience Club:
Nemo earns Two legs for his Open Standard title with two first places. He is the only one to Q in his Division. Also Rowdy and I do an awesome job in Excellent standard. We do not Q but are really close, he had one spin in front of a jump, but everything else was on the money and we would have made time. I can not say enough of what a super dog my Blue boy is.

November 26, 2006: Westfriendship, MD:
Rowdy's boy Abbott takes Best Of Winners at National Capital Kennel CLub. Good Job Sue and Abbott!! (:^D
October 21, 2006: Hampton,VA:
Entered Rush for one Obedience Trial at the Merrimac Dog Training Club, I was told by numerous people her heel on leash was to die for, to get to the figure 8 and have her not sit! Darn that is her brother Rowdy's specialty playing breed dog in the obedience ring. Then Two more no sits off leash : (~ Then a no sit on the recall finish, boy did she kill our score. And a milestone, Rush didn't even pay attention to the judge for her stand stay. That was a first, she always has to wiggle when the judge comes up. Whoever knows Rush knows there are way to many people and just not enough time to visit. : )~ But at least we have a leg for her AKC CD and a happy go lucky girl.
September 24, 2006: Gloucester,VA:
Nemo goes out for his first time in AKC Open Jumpers Standard and earns a 4th place. : )~
August 26 & 27, 2006: Triangle Obedience Club:
Rowdy goes for his first UKC CDX leg. Comes away with his First Leg and a First Place with a pretty good score of 192. What a super boy, he just takes what I ask him to do in stride. Which seems to be passing on to his kids. Rowdy earns his Second UKC CDX leg with a Third place. I hurt my ankle so my heeling was really bad from limping so that threw him off with a couple of no sits. Rush goes in to earn her UKC CD with a Second place with a 195, lost some points because she just has a hard time keeping her feet in one place when the judge goes to touch her. What a social butterfly.
August 5 & 6, 2006: Westminister, MD:
Rowdy's boy Abbott, breezes thru his AKC Open Standard and Open Jumpers Standard! Way to go Abbott and Sue! To move up to Excellent Standard and Jumpers to just be marked off for one thing in both classes. Guess I need to get back out with Rowdy, before his boy gets ahead of him. : )~
July 29 & 30, 2006: Blue Ridge Australian Shepherd Club:
Rowdy earn's his second ASCA CD leg on Saturday with a first place and a 193!! HE SAT ON EACH HALT!! YEE HAW!! By JOVE I THINK HE'S GOT IT!!! On top of that he takes High in Trial Aussie and High in Trial! His score was higher than the other breed High in Trial. On Sunday he earns his CD with a score of 194 with 1 no sit off leash. That 1 no sit cost him 3 points for a 197 and High Aussie. Knew the boy had the high scores if I would just train and show him what I wanted. GOOD BREED DOG : )~
July 23, 2006: Weimaraner Club of Washington DC:
The boys and I go up to stay with Sue, Abbott's Mom for the Sunday trial,Abbott comes away with his Second Open Jumpers leg with a 100 and third place. Then it is Nemo's turn in Novice Jumpers, earning his title with a third place and 95, running a conflict in Rowdy's Excellent Standard Class. Leaving that building to just have a couple of dogs left for Excellent Standard, Rowdy goes in to show his boys he is still fast and quick! Beautiful run I just don't cue him for the right entrance to the tunnel. Not bad since Rowdy and I have not worked together in some time in agility. One reason I haven't done more excellent is I didn't think I could make the times. His speed should not be a factor anymore. : ) Then Abbott in Open Standard for his first time in gets another 100 and third again, way to go Sue and Abbott. Then Nemo goes in for Novice Standard to not be shown up by his brother to get a 100 and second place. What a fun weekend. Thanks Sue for letting us come visit and play. Oh yeah, we won't mention Tober the Goober : @ ) Tobey is just such a happy dog, have to love him.
July 15 & 16, 2006: Tidewater Dog Performance Club:

UKC Agility TRIAL 1: AGII ,Nemo has to run AGII first again working for his title. He takes a second place with a score of 192 to have a clean sweep for his AGII Title! TRIAL 1: AGI, Nemo earns his AGI title with a first place and a 199! Way to go Ne Dunk! Knew this boy would be an awesome reliable guy. And he covered for me on a jump that I almost directed him away from. He almost took it from a stand still, hopped it and turned his body to get over it with out taking it down. What a Boy!Even the judge was impressed.
May 6, 2006: Belroi Agility Club
UKC Agility TRIAL 1: AG II , Nemo goes to his first UKC Trial and he has to compete in the higher level first. He has never seen the platform jump before or sway plank, but takes it in stride and handles the course like a Pro! We take a Second Place with a nice score of 192. Being beat for first place by one point we had a much better time. TRIAL 1: AG I Nemo goes in and kicks some Butt, takes first place with a score of 200! And a very fast time. TRIAL 2: AGI he gets to run first, ties for first place to be beat by just over a second in time. Picks up a score of 199! TRIAL 2: AG II Ne earns a 196 and a second place.
