Thanks Ms. Lyddon for looking past all the puppy antics.__________________________________________________________________________

Franklin caught my eye as soon as he was born. And my neighbor Nancy's also. Nancy came over and helped birth the pups.
When he was born he had that black spot on the top of his head, like Nemo. Frank was one of the bigger pups born. Well, as time went on I was only planning on keeping one of the girls. Didn't need anymore boys. Let alone 2 pups.
One day Allen and I were in the kitchen and Franklin had climbed the barrier from the pen they were in. He came running into the kitchen with that big Aussie smile, slid on the floor to stop at Allen's feet and look up at him. When he did that, he jumped in the air and did a backflip. Franklin fell in love with Allen from the very start. So with that and then that cute little face with the one blue eye, Franklin had to stay. Personality plus in this pup!
Franklin has started his show career off with a bang! Our very first time out he was about 9 weeks old. There were 2 other male puppies entered. One was a little over a month older, the other was about 7 or 8 months old.
Franklin was such a little showman from the start that he won Best of Breed puppy!!
I have only entered Franklin in a few shows and normally just entered him for one day. Due to his age.
I entered him for only one day at the local Memorial Day circuit and he went WD/BW for his 1st point at only 7 months of age! Winning over older dogs. Sure wish I had entered him for the whole circuit.
I entered him for the one show on July 5th for that competitive Howard County, West Friendship, MD circuit , low and behold my Bred By 8.5 month old baby takes Winners Dog over 13 other dogs for a 4 point major to go on to Best Opposite, going over 4 males specials to bring the points to a 5 point major!!
I would like to thank Ms. Lyddon for that honorable win. The above photo.
And not to mention the 5 point major you honored us with!! : ^ )
I entered him in his first UKC Non-Regular class and he took Best of Breed puppy.
He was just a little past his 6 month birthday and we entered his first UKC breed show to pick up 2 comp. wins over older and titled AKC dogs and all but a few points. He is proving to be fun to show.
Franklin has won several Reserve Winners Dog in ASCA. July 25th 2010 he is awarded Winners Dog for a major against some really nice boys. A big thanks to Judge Carol Noe, always a pleasure showing under you. You are always so pleasant.
10/29/10 Franklin and Stephanie go to the Carolina Australian Shepherd Club and pick up his second ASCA major, going WD/BOW!
11/12/10 Salisbury, MD: Franklin and I go Winners Dog and Best of Winners for another point to his AKC Championship.
11/13/10 Salisbury, MD: Franklin and I go Winners Dog for another point to his AKC Ch.
12/4/10 Courtland, Va: Show 1 Franklin takes his Champion class in UKC against another dog. No Competition win due to the lack of amount of dogs needed. On to Best of Breed to Group 1 under Breeder Judge Rick Gann.
12/4/10 Courtland, Va: Show 2 Franklin wins his Champion class again in UKC against the same dog. No Competition win due to the lack of dogs needed. Best of Breed again and a Group 2. Picking up a total of 12 points for Top Ten. I am not even working on that for this year since it is almost over.
8/3/11 Salem, Va.: Franklin and I earn his AKC Championship in grand style going WD/BW from the Bred By Class for is 3rd major point win, under Michele Billings!
Earning one 5 point, and two 4 point majors. Finishing in limited showing and about 2.5 month shy of his third birthday. Earning the honor to go to Westminster Kennel Club and Eukanuba National Championship!
9/10/11 Gloucester, Va: Franklin finish's his UKC AGI title with a 198. We are still learning to be a team. I have only entered him in 2 other UKC agility trials and 1 AKC trial.
9/18/11 Courtland, Va: Franklin finish's his UKC GrCh in great style going Group 3 out of 8 different herding breeds. Missed a clean sweep for the title being taken from him by his full littermate Sissy Raven!! Bad dog Raven : )~
Isn't he just so cute about 12 weeks old
Isn't he handsome 2 years old
